Railway 12306 Platform Launches Special Section and Pilots "System-automated Ticket Order Submission" Function: People's Daily

Starting from December 30, 2024, Railway 12306 platform users can pre-fill ticket orders for any day during the Spring Festival travel period (January 14 to February 22, 2025) through the "Ticket Information Pre-fill Optimization Pilot" section. Each order allows users to select a combination of "1 travel date + up to 60 train trips." Each user can have a maximum of 6 pending ticket orders, with no more than 9 passengers per order. Sixteen days before the departure, the Railway 12306 platform will prompt users to adjust the priority of their preferred train trips, confirm booking details, and choose whether to prepay for tickets. When ticket sales begin 15 days before departure, the Railway 12306 platform will automatically submit the orders for prepaid users according to their selected priority. These submissions, along with those using other methods, will enter the purchase queue based on the order submission time. If a user successfully purchases a ticket, any prepaid amount exceeding the actual ticket price will be automatically refunded. If the purchase is unsuccessful, a full refund will be provided without any additional charges. If no prepayment is made, users can manually submit their orders according to the existing process when ticket sales begin.
